From the end of March to end of June, we were in America on our furlough. Mainly in the DC area, where Eliah is from, but we also got to travel to Texas, Montreal, New York and Pennsylvania visiting family, friends, and churches.
Traveling with 3 little ones was not the easiest, so unfortunately, we had to cancel our trip to Alaska. We're super bummed to have missed seeing family there, but we are grateful that God's grace carried us through our times of travel and time in the states.
Kaiya loved the travel and had a great time with everyone, being involved in Awana nights and VBS at Shining Star church. Jayden, well, he did not like all the changes and had the hardest time adjusting. But once he did adjust, he really enjoyed his time too. Koa, our baby that is full of smiles, was the easiest to please :) He is growing strong and healthy and is so full of joy, lovin life!
Some highlights on top of getting to see our family and friends were seeing one of El's close friends getting married, celebrating bdays, meeting new friends from Shining Star church, (Chris) fishing at random places, and hearing one of El's other close friends, getting pregnant!
