Remember the Spence family that started to help us with Christian Surfers Taiwan last spring? Well, last summer they moved to Taidong, which is in the southeast part of Taiwan and where many great surf spots are. They felt moved to buy land and one day start a training center.
Last August, Chris had invited Brian to a CS conference where Brian got to meet more CS leaders and see a little more on what CS is about. Soon after this time Brian has decided to start the CS Taidong chapter and we are so excited for this!
Since then Brian has used surfing to reach surfers, even seeing some healing miracles and just God moving in lives. Recently a tragedy has happened where a 33 yr old ex-pat surfer died while surfing....possibly heart failure. His friend that he has been discipling was a friend of his and the one to find him in the water. Please be praying for Brian, his friend and of course the family of the surfer who passed.
