Chris and I had the privilege to share our testimonies
to a group of young people that are on probation and meet at the
courthouse to take a drug test every other week. A lot of these young people are
involved with gangs and come from broken homes. It was really cool to
see this ministry that reaches out to these young people and the government has already seen the difference between this group of youth compared to the other locations of Taiwan.
Before the mandatory drug test, they have a time of worship, they play ice-breaker games, have a testimony or sharing time, and at the end have a time for questions and answers. The parents of these young people have the option to join also
and during the Q and A part everyone splits up, with the moms being in one group, the dads in another, and
the youth in the main room.
So one week I got to share my testimony and have a Q and A time with the youth while Chris talked to the dads, and the next time we went, Chris shared his testimony and I had a time with the moms. We really enjoyed this kind of ministry and it was a blessing to be a part of it. Let's keep praying for the youth of Taiwan!
