May is a fun month where we get to celebrate Jayden's 3rd and Kaiya's 5th birthday! There's a lot of May birthdays amongst the younger kids, so we just had a birthday BBQ celebrating all of them at once!
Something else God brought up was about the start of the surf ministry. Even though lately, we haven't been doing a lot of surf ministry, we still go out on the weekends with the family and see a lot of friends and meet new ones. On the Saturday that we were out celebrating Kaiya's birthday at the beach, Chris met a surfer that was raised in a Christian family, but wasn't really a Christian anymore. Not only were there some cool conversations where Chris was able to share about God's love, but he also gave Chris a couple of surfboards too! Pretty sweet! God used that day to remind us that it was during our pregnancy with Kaiya that was also the same time as the "pregnancy" and start of Christians Surfers Taiwan too. How amazing of a day for God to encourage us in celebrating all the birthdays.
