Committed to GO and SERVE

During our time back in Taiwan, it hasn't been the easiest.  In fact, to be honest, we were pretty bummed coming back, away from family, comfort, our own language!!!!
We were discouraged to see that compared to other ministries, ours seems to have the least fruit.  We work at the coffee bar here and see so much fruit, but with surf ministry, it's like....anything happening???
We had a lot of times of prayer, asking God, what is this time back supposed to look like?  Why are we here?
And the Lord answered....He asked, "would you still be willing to go with the surf ministry, even if there is no 'success'?  Would you be willing to serve, just because I say so and not for the way things will look on the outside?"  Getting straight to the heart...this was not that easy to answer, but in our hearts we said, "Yes, Lord....whatever you ask, we are willing" .
So, we are going for it....still.  We were greatly encouraged when we had a surf ministry meeting, where we prayed and both got the same exact things from God!! God was speaking to us, He is with us!!  And this, my friends, is all that matters.
Thank God, He is with us, and is faithful.
Our focus has sharpened - language studies (Eliah going back to class and Chris continuing) - and - surf ministry, going now 2 times a week to serve in any way and to continue to be a light.
We are on a mission...all for His Kingdom.
