Lessons Learned / Learning

From reading the previous blog, I realized I needed to clarify some lessons we've learned (or shall I say re-learned):
1. Never compare!!!
2. Mother Teresa says it better that I can, "God does not demand that I be successful. God demands that I be faithful. When facing God, results are not important. Faithfulness is what is important."
3. "The Beatitudes are God's recipe for revival" - from Heidi Bakers book, 'Compelled by Love'....amazing, amazing book. Please pray that we can love the way Jesus loves...that we can see each person in front of us, the way Jesus' loving eyes sees them!!!

Specific Needs

Ministry:
- Conferences: Every year, we attend a couple conferences for YWAM Taipei and Christian Surfers International. With travel and conference fees, it averages to about $500-700/yr.

Personal:
- Kid's education: About $400 a month is needed to cover Kaiya and Jayden's monthly school fees.
- Transportation: Eliah's moped is on it's last leg. We would like to raise about $1900 to get one that will last.

Direction on how to give: If giving towards one of the needs listed above, please email us (chonohana@gmail.com) the amount you are giving and specifically what it’s for.

If paying by check, it is tax-deductable and can be made out to "YWAM". Then on a separate note, put our account number “3639” and/or our names. (Please do not put our names or our number anywhere on the check in order for it to be processed) The check can be mailed to: YWAM, 501 Blacktail Rd, Lakeside, MT, 59922.
