A few weeks ago, a surfer and friend to many here in Jinshan passed away on the waters edge due to heart failure.
Chris and another friend, Eddie were ready to go out for a surf and saw Lao Hei coming in from surfing, saying that his heart hurt. Chris and Eddie asked are you ok, do you need help, but Laohei said he was fine and told them to go out and catch some waves. As Chris was paddling out he noticed Laohei laid himself down on the beach. Chris just assumed Laohei was resting. Tragically, he had passed away.
He was one of the best surfers in Jinshan and friend to many. This really impacted the surfing community here. It was good to be apart of the memorial. Chris was able to pray for Lao Hei's younger brother at the time. Pray this would open doors in peoples hearts for sharing the gospel.
