Kaiya, in Chinese kindergarten, had a difficult first few months, making new friends and having new teachers, but she now loves her school! She's learning Chinese slowly and still doing Bible studies and reading (English) at home, but mainly she loves to dance and play with her 2 little brothers!
One night, she was terrified of going to sleep because she had had a nightmare the night before. We prayed for her, but she still sobbed. Then I began to share God's wonderful promises to her. Of how much He loves her and other memory verses that we had been learning. As she remembered God's words, she began to have peace in her heart and soon fell fast asleep. Thank you, Lord, for your Promises true and good.
Jayden is still a handful (of joy;)), but he is able to speak and understand much more so he has been able to learn to do many more things on his own. Potty trained, even at night! Dressing himself, well, some what. And even how to turn the TV on, as well as help water plants :) Still not quite able to sit through reading a whole book, but I think that's more his personality than his age! He'd rather be letting his car do jumps off the books ;)
Koa is super chill. Healthy and strong, thank God!!! He has entered his two's so he definitely has his "moments", but other than that he is super easy to please. Jayden and Koa like any brothers play well and fight well. Its just a matter of teaching them how to deal with conflict, but isn't that a life long lesson?
So thankful for these children. We are SO rich and blessed because of their lives! Parenthood has not been easy, but it is worth every moment! Time really flies by, so we are trying to enjoy every season we see our kids go through, they truly are so precious!!!
